This is hard for moms to do but make sure you ask for help. Don’t wait until you’re overwhelmed and experiencing “mommy burnout”. Ask for help. You only have two hands and 24 hours ask you partner or other family members help with watching the kids while you get some chores done or even to step away from the kids to get some ‘alone time’ in.
Despite the obvious chaos of life, I’ve learned that all kids want is attention. They want us to take a break from our busy lives and focus on them. Life is all about balance and I’ve actually started creating some simple, affordable ways to create memories to add balance to our lives.
